Chad Brown, WESC Technical Director

While Chad may not brag about his accomplishments, Spokane is lucky to have Chad in his hometown sharing his coaching talents. Chad, a USSF A license coach, brings an incredible coaching history, work ethic, and professionalism that will continue Washington East’s development of highly skilled soccer players with strong character.

Chad grew up playing soccer in Spokane and has had an amazing career both on the field and on the sidelines.

Chad’s playing accomplishments go from Regional team honors and US Youth National Team pool in high school to a successful college career at Bellevue CC, Spokane Falls CC, and Fresno St. University where they were conference Champions in 1999. His Soccer playing days culminated as a Seattle Sounders USL/A-league player from 1999-2005.

Chad’s coaching career started while playing for the Sounders as he coached at Crossfire from 1999-2005. Collegiately he went on to coach at Bellevue CC, UNLV, West Virginia University, and Spokane Shadow First Team. He currently coaches at Spokane Falls CC and is the head coach for Washington East 2002 and 2006 boys' teams.

As you can see by his accomplishments, Washington East was very fortunate to have Chad join us as a coach in 2017. Between regular seasons, Chad also runs First Touch Soccer Academy in the summer and winter . This soccer academy offers a fun environment for players to earn extra touches and refine their soccer skills. Check out the website. ( also located in the "camps and clinics" drop down tab) We encourage players to attend.

When Washington East’s Technical Director position opened up there was not one person more talented or more qualified to run this great club than Chad Brown. Our club’s tradition of homegrown talent and community connection has continued. We are so fortunate to have his leadership at Washington East, and we are excited for the future.

While Chad may be quiet, he is incredibly intense and he has taken on the role of Technical Director professionally and directly. His goals are long term and strives to maintain a club with integrity that puts the players and families first. Chad promises to continue this club’s great tradition.

Washington East is lucky to have Chad Brown; if you don’t know him, stop and say hello the next time you see him out at the fields.
